Together we cry

Prom dress objective is achieved! Got it from Bangsar this afternoon when we went out. Now to get my shirt and tie. If I am feeling rich (maybe after more poker nights eh) then I might get myself a new coat as well.

Been playing Blackshot online. Not bad but L4D unbeatable for now. Report is finally going to finish. Quite proud of myself for being able to juggle the girl, the games, the notes and the report haha. If it isn't good enough, then screw the 4%. Matching results are coming out hopefully this time by Monday. It is after all already delayed for a week. Come on IMU, stop making us wait and waste our time and giving us heart attacks.

Oh and we decided to set up our joint blog!

Just a spontaneous thing cuz can't adopt a puppy or a kitten. Lol.

Earth Hour just passed as well. I was living in utter darkness for an hour just now. Got me thinking about how our ancestors lived in their wooden shelters in the dark - if they were lucky enough to get shelter that is. Guess we should really be thankful for what we have before it is gone. Not surprisingly, Vista was still as bright as a Xmas tree. So was IMU. Expected. People will want to study and study and study. Or use the internet. Or the aircon. Whatever happened to making not just better students and doctors but better people as a whole? We are a terribly selfish species. Some alien race should just come down and smite us all.

Somehow people's mentalities just wouldn't change no matter what, even if they know it is so damn wrong. I guess we can only do this much, and the rest is up to the individuals. The guilt lies on their shoulders. Pity on our next generations though, and shame on us cause we know we could've done something to change the future.

an hour of darkness doth not a complete medical student make.

having hobbies, playing sports and keeping up with current issues is probably a better gauge of how complete a person is.

it doesn't make him complete, but it does help him to be on his way. plus its not bout the student, its bout the earth!
