Fly, fly, fly away

Back from Brunei. The only thing I brought back was a runny nose. Then up to Penang the bee and I went on Wednesday! Planned to stay overnight there as well at one of the hotels at Ferringhi. Didn't know which one as long as it is cheap hehe. So began our roadtrip up north at 8am. Ok more like 9am cuz my uncle gave me the wrong directions at first.

The long drive up was boring and monotonous. The bee and I entertained ourselves by being emo and argueing and being angry with each other and then making up for it after every 15mins. Lol. And had to msg Karmen for directions and she was such a dear to call back and tell me everything. Thanks Kar :)

Finally reached there around 1pm only to find that the hotel we reserved wasn't all that nice and the beach that it was facing sucked. So we had to go hotel-hopping to check their rates and the beaches and we finally landed in Bayview Beach Resort! Rm155 for a night and the beach and hotel surroundings were damn nice.

Anyway pictures speak a thousand words - or more - so I'll let them do the talking.

Horse looks sexier yes? :D

And last but not the least,

Oh and managed to wake up at 3.30am and trudged down to the main lobby to watch ManUtd lose to Barcelona. Sad case. And I'm still stuck with the runny nose and mild fever.

EOS results out today 3pm! Freaking nervous. Already filled out the forms sent by Uni of Manc. Please don't give me a heart attack.

let's go

Poker confirmed on Tuesday night ok! I come back from Brunei straight away that night play.

Zhiven take note :D Let Dom and Guan they all know.

RM200.

Train

Heading back to Brunei later for 4 days - until Tuesday night. Mum thinks she is too rich lol. Hate going back, hate leaving the bee behind even for 4 days. On the bright side - ok not bright maybe just a small glimmer - I can test drive the new family car!

Speaking of driving and cars, the bee and I headed up to Cameron's yesterday. 3 hour drive up to the strawberry park, and we found this really nice dessert cafe.

Strawberries, cherry tomatoes, chocolate and ice cream. Orgasmic. So all was turning out to be a wonderful day when something happened. I was turning right into a shop across the road. I put my signal to turn to the right when some fucker overtook me and gave me the finger. Ok never mind. So I let him pass before turning into the shop. I was 3/4 into the shop parking lot already when suddenly...BUMP! followed by 2 dull thuds.Ok so A is our car, B is the fucker and the blue cocci looking things are the motorcycles speeding away. Seems like the motorcyclists had to drive more the their left to evade the fucker B, so that might have caused the crash.

After hearing the crash the bee and I got out of the car, and I saw two people laying on the floor, unconscious. Lucky fucky they were wearing their helmets, else I'll probably be in jail by now. One guy groaned and got up, he had cuts and bruises and followed his friend to the hospital first while the other guy was still laying there dazed. I was bloody stunned big time - more stunned then when I saw the word 'fundoscope' in my first OSCE station - and it took me a full minute or so before I remembered I am a medical student. So I took his carotid pulse and checked if he could see the number of fingers I held in front of him. Passerby's and the people on the shops came out to help, and thank God they were helpful and not an angry mob. To cut the long story short, an ambulance came and took him away. IMU should let us practice in these kinds of scenario.

Then came the drama about making a police report or not. First thing is that we didn't want the bee's dad to find out or we'll both be screwed, and making a report means writing down the car number plate which is under his name. Secondly, I thought of just driving off cuz no one there took down our number plate (or so I think). Third option was to just go and settle with them directly, out of court. Which was the choice we ultimately took. And boy was it a good one. Turns out that the motorcyclists were Indonesians and they didn't have any driving license! No report for them too. So we just gave them whatever we had in our wallets and it was settled. Finally.

Lessons learnt. The bee and I can handle any problems thrown at us, and we can make the right decisions after discussing every possible angle lol. I love you : ) Also, Cameron's is not suitable for day trips; never get my kids in the future motorcycles; do the right thing and God will guide you through any storm.

Haters can suck ****

Manchester United are Premier League champions again!

Liverpool and Benitez, sorry. Better luck next time. If there is a next time.

At least Arsene Wenger had the courtesy of saying that Man Utd are worthy champs. Unlike some sore loser Spaniard. Ahh Torres, you just had to join the wrong club eh.

Next on the list, Barcelona and the Champions League!

p.s: I don't hate Liverpool supporters don't get me wrong. Not all anyway lol.

First case of swine flu confirmed in Malaysia!

21 year old boy returning from The States on flight MH 091 is the 1st case in M'sia and now the government is frantically trying to trace all the passengers on board that flight.

What happened to those detectors at KLIA?

Here's the news extract from GMANews.TV

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Malaysia confirmed its first case of swine flu Friday, a 21-year-old student who recently returned from the United States.

The Health Ministry said the man was hospitalized Thursday after suffering from fever, a sore throat and body aches. He had returned to Malaysia from the United States on Wednesday.

Tests confirmed that he was infected with the H1N1 swine flu virus, the ministry said in a statement.

Acting Health Minister Kong Cho Ha said the man's condition "is OK ... very stable."

Five of his family members have been placed under quarantine as a precaution, Kong said.

Authorities are also trying to trace and isolate 199 passengers and crew who flew with him on a Malaysia Airlines flight from Newark, in the US state of New Jersey. The flight left Newark late Monday and made a stopover in Stockholm. Some of the passengers may also have taken a connecting flight to Indonesia.

"All the necessary precautions are being taken," Kong told a news conference. "We also advise the public not to panic. Everything is under control."

Globally, at least 70 people have died of swine flu, 64 of them in Mexico where the virus originated. Four deaths have been reported in the US, one in Canada and one in Costa Rica.

According to the World Health Organization, some 6,672 people in 33 countries are confirmed to have been sickened by the disease. - AP

Erica Jones?

Guess what we found in the library. Lol. Yea studies suck and is so damn boring.

Argh I am super sick of the library. Can't wait for the 21st to arrive. Hope the bee's paper tomorrow is easier than today's. MMS has drove me crazy today, but I guess it was good. Absorbing info like a sponge.

What's with me and recurring numbers.

JR

Gosh ain't he an adorable one :)

And so weekends are back to being weekends instead of torture-ends. Finally got to eat the pan mee as well.

I wonder if people should base their relationship closeness on Facebook quizes LOL. If so, I should get married to the bee AND a certain Mr Fong Zhi Ven. Gay guy hahaha. But I guess sometimes the results do tell a certain amount of truth.

Mother's Day tomorrow. Pity I can't spend it with my mum in Brunei. But she knows I'll be there haha. Happy Mother's Day!!

Damn I hate EOS.

Thanks bee, for filling everyday with sunshine. Never knew life can be so optimistic and full of joy.

How did I end up so depressed and gloomy last time. How did I stand it.

This is brilliant

United bullies savage Arsenal Bambis
It was the night they shot Bambi down. Arsene Wenger's wide-eyed young team, full of hope and potential, never even saw it coming. But their demise at the hands of Manchester United was fast and, oh, was it brutal. Skipping around on skittish legs, Arsenal were defenceless and naive prey hunted down by big beasts. United were so merciless with them that it was the kind of stuff that made you want to hide behind your hands. It wasn't just a beating. It was a humiliation. The heaviest defeat Arsenal have suffered here on the biggest night in the Emirates' short history. And it may also have marked the death of a dream. It exposed Arsenal's young guns, the players in whom Wenger has placed so much hope, as boys trying to compete with men. The gap between these two sides does not appear to be narrowing. It seems to be getting wider and wider. For the second time in six days, Arsenal were second best to Sir Alex Ferguson's European champions. Second best in every department. They were simply overwhelmed by the power, the experience and the skill of United. They didn't stand a chance.

Duo

2 months. Many said we couldn't make, and those that didn't say it secretly doubted it in their hearts. Well eat your hearts out.

We fought; I lied, you forgot stuff, we say the wrong things at the wrong time; but after all the dust has settled, there is only one feeling left that is still standing, the feeling that we both share - love.

2 months has gone by in a flash - I can still remember the day I asked you the question. True, the next 3 years will be hell-ish, but damnit I believe that we'll make it, for with you, everything just seems to make sense now. Except for when you are mumbling when you are high or sleepy lol.

Lunch at Alexis Gardens.Don't ask.

Funday

Ahh Sundays. The scourge of the week. But not today. Made a decision to take a cab and head over to spend the day with the bee at her place. Studying of course. And lunch. And messing around with Junior. And taking him for his evening walk. And dinner.

The Saturday at the library.

Study-break

Testing out the Smile Shutter function of the phone camera lol. Apparently it responds to white, as in the white of your teeth when you smile. Unless you have yellow teeth then that's too bad. Get your ugly mug taken somewhere else where you wouldn't crack my camera lens haha.

Lunch at Subang was awesome. We missed the panmee (again -_-) cuz its a Sunday and he doesn't open on Sundays. The other time we came on Friday we had to wait for at least 1 freaking hour. So we went to eat porkbelly and pork sausages for lunch! Yummy pork heaven.

Renal is.....boring. Good compared to MSK and CNS I guess. Helped the bee out with accounts also haha. The last time I did accounts was in O-levels, and even then I sucked in it - it was my worst subject keep getting B damnit.

Let's have this kind of Sunday forever.

lalala

Bought a new phone today. After 2 years of loyal service I decided to retire my K810i. It decided not to read my USIM anymore. Sad case.

So the new phone. SE C510. Welcome to a long list of Jon's phones.

Bought it at Low Yatt for RM900. The bee managed to get something from lala-land Sg Wang as well haha. Which prompted her to say that she will end her discrimination against Sg Wang. We'll see lol.

Went to the bee's house in the morning to 'study' haha. Managed to do 3 notes. Not bad eh. And messed around with Junior! Hehe :D

Oh and this is the other cute thing. Just a little bit cuter than Junior. Kidding bee :D
