blues

Now i remember the reason why I don't like coming back to Brunei. In addition to the fact that the gf is back there in KL and that there is nothing to do here. Miss the smell of freedom. And the quiet sounds of non-nagging.

Just a few more days I hope. Visa is the only thing stopping me now...hopefully they can get it done later, else it's gonna take a few more days to get the original over here and drag the whole damn thing on.

Why does love seem to fade away as people get older? And they rather focus on the so called 'more important' things in life. Like money, time-management, education, work work work and stressing themselves up like dog testicles. Unless you are French I suppose.

Wow 6 days without the bee already. Seems like forever. It's funny (or rather not) how time seems to slow to a complete crawl when you are not around. I wish I can capture every moment with you and re-live it everyday of my life. And don't give me the HIMYM bullcrap about how a moment becomes precious because it is fleeting and there is a new moment coming up which makes the old moment even more precious. Lol. I want my piglet.

te amo

I miss you Erica Mak =\ Someone teleport me back to KL please? Starving, need girlfriend.

Devastated

Michael Jackson is dead. The King, no, Legend of Pop is dead. Cardiac arrest at 50. Wtf. Damn sad case. And yes I think that he is innocent. And yes I love his music. And oh yes I love his music video 'Thriller'. And yes thank goodness I have his albums.
Also Farah Fawcett is dead too. Cancer. Wow what is this the death month?? Poor woman overshadowed by MJ's death. She was brilliant as well.
Just realized that there is a 2-year internship in the UK in addition to my 3 years there.
H1N1 just keeps spreading and spreading.
This month just keeps getting better and better eh. One the worst months ever.
It's the end of the fucking world.

Another mehh day

Hooray back in Brunei. ZZzzzzz.

Its freaking boring and I fucking miss the bee. Miss miss miss miss. The worst thing is that I don't even know when is the next time I am heading back to M'sia sigh. Other than for my bday. Hopefully. Uncertainties in life are one of the most annoying things as well as one of the best things, that is if they bring you pleasant surprises.

Oh and my cat has 4 new kittens so insanely cute mwahahaha. So cuddle-able lol. Like someone ;) Wish you were here gf.

Pinch me

Heading back to Brunei tomorrow on the 9.10am flight. Flying 1st class as there are no seats available in economy class anymore. Managed to spend the whole day with the bee though thankfully. Had lunch at this Korean BBQ restaurant in Taipan - Han Woo Ri - and my goodness it was awesome! And for a wee bit less than RM50 as well.

All the side dishes, which were all refillable, made it all the more worth it. Then just lazed around the whole day at my place watching How I Met Your Mother and talking bout the future and talking and talking. Really still finding it hard to believe that I will be leaving for UK so soon. And that I will be in Brunei for almost the whole of July. Exciting? Yea sure -_- The future is scary. Especially when it is so uncertain. We'll make it through, I know we will. Times will be tough, but knowing that you'll be there waiting makes it easier.

Cleared my room. Disposed of all the notes which I don't think I'll be needing. Lots of junk around actually. And come to think of it there isn't that many things to carry back to Brunei at all, the most being clothes. And my speakers which are heavy. I want to wake up and be in Semester 1 again.

Rembrandt

Time is against us.

Trying to rush everything before I go overseas/back to Brunei.

Trying to make it to all the places.

Trying to eat all the food possible. Like pigs.

BBQ Plaza

Look-out Point, Ampang

Pity I don't have a better camera yesterday. All I can take is darkness with a few specks of light.

Pro camera shot

Food there was good too; had the grilled lamb chop, a 15-inch pizza plus a banana mango cocktail for Rm55. Not bad. Next on my shopping list is a kick ass camera that I can bring to the UK!

Fiona's birthday today. Happy birthday high school kid! Lol. Ahh birthdays. Hitting 21 this July. Next month. I'm getting old and I need someone to rely on. Oh wait. I already have.

Sand & sunshine

Continued the shopping again yesterday at Mid Valley. Bought a couple of shirts and finally decided to play WOW. Yea bought the original game set and everything. Study? Huh what?

Headed to the highway around 3pm to fulfill our plan to go to Bagan Lalang, or as some sites put it, Malaysia's best kept secret. Kind of agree with it actually; the beach was pretty damn good! It was quite clean, the shores stretched for miles, the sand was damn fine and white (unlike the PD one -_-) and there aren't that many of the locals who would give stare like they've never seen a girl before.

(note: don't go there at 4pm its frigging hot)

These are the best shots that I could come out with using my camera phone, but seriously it is much nicer than the pictures. For once they don't speak a thousand words.

Casino again later, time to get some cash back!

Reciprocal

Plans come and go eh. Our plan for today just went boink. Red box and Bagan Lalang all pushed to tomorrow, and we decided to spend the whole day reading books at Borders The Curve and eating lunch at Bavarian Bierhaus. Insanely good. And it better be too at RM100 for the sausage platter and a glass of German beer, which was damn awesome by the way.

Sexiness

Bavarian Bierhaus super sausages!

Beer rules on hot days

Can't wait to get back there again for the pork knuckles *drools. Counting down the days till I'm heading back to Brunei. Ahhh wtf. Maybe I shouldn't think so much. Sleep more. Play more games. Would you lay with me and, just forget the world.

Why are there so many Monomorium minimum around my table?!

Suffering Samurais!

Decided to head towards Pavillion today. Been to all the malls too often already hmm. Wondering what to eat for lunch when we saw the Chocolate Lounge. The chocolate frappes there are heaven! Fucking awesome. Better than fucking awesome. What's better than fucking awesome? Chocolate frappe at Chocolate Lounge, that's what.

Also had the German Strudel, which turned out to be on the uncooked side, so we complained and got free waffles mwahaha. What's better than waffles? Free waffles d'uh.

Guess what we are going to do tomorrow? Lol. Let's just keep it a secret for now, will update by the end of tomorrow hopefully.

Fell in love with Calvin n Hobbes again today. Remembered why I read them in the first place hehe.

Calvin: Dad I got 57% for my Math test.
Dad: WHAT?? That's an E!
Calvin: If the government were even 57% efficient today, it would be an A and we would be celebrating.

Oh and the bee starting to get into Tintin. Yea just today. 10 years after I read them in primary school lol.

Scheduled

Ahh I remembered watching this match; ManUtd vs Bolton, and C.Ronaldo came on in the 2nd half around the hour mark and delivered one of the best debuts ever seen in 30mins. Little did I know that he would become one of the world's best in the world (according to Fifa awards the best), and in turn one of the most arrogant, whiny, whimpy and self-centered players as well. Not that I don't like him or anything, I think is skills are superb and second to none - maybe to Messi - but his attitude is disgusting. Forcing his way out of a club that had nurtured and brought him up into a world-class player...let's see how he does for Real.

Sad to see him go - no one likes to see your best player switching clubs with a rival - but it is pretty good business. Let's see who we spend on with the cash. Me thinking Ashley Young, David Silva, Sergio Aguero (has a release clause...peanuts to ManUtd) and if needed Hunterlaar and Guillermo Ochoa. Hey we need a keeper, VDS is old enough to be my granddad. Plus he appeared on the CD cover for Fifa Soccer 09, how impressive he is if he is to do that?

One more shocking possibility is....

He is still good enough.

2am ramblings

Sometimes people say things without knowing the implications of their words.
Sometimes people say things out of hurt or jealousy or both.
Sometimes people say things because they think they are right when they are fucken wrong.
Sometimes people say things because they just want to prove that they can speak.
Sometimes people say things when they should just fucken sleep.
Sometimes people say things in hope that someone cares.
Sometimes people say things because they can't let it go.

On separate note,
I am going to miss the silly girl.
I am going to miss the shopping trips together.
I am going to miss taking the cab to go to your place on weekends.
I am going to miss the excited look on your face when you choose my clothes.
I am going to miss how you always find ways to make me laugh.
I am going to miss your retardedness (and there is quite a lot here).
I am going to miss your smile which instantly brightens up my day.
I am going to miss the early morning messages you send to me before driving over.
I am going to miss how we talk things over no matter what.
I am going to miss how we always start the most stupid arguments.
I am going to miss you.

Ok I am changing professions

Decided to head up to Genting today with the bee, Dom and Rachel. Haha double date? More like a date with the casino babeh! So withdrew RM500 and after breakfast at Old Town we headed up in two cars to First World. The drive up was sweet, thank goodness it wasn't that jam around the Ampang/Kepong area. Managed to reach in an hour, and after the much needed toilet stop (and Dom taking out RM500 too) we headed for the tables. Roulette, to kick it off. Little did I know that the bee and I will spend the whole day at roulette haha. And she was damn cute 'analysing', or so she called it, the statistics and which tables are good to play. It actually worked; and at the end of the day we won Rm100. Not bad. Now I can buy the sleeve of my windbreaker. Damn.

Guys shouldn't go to casinos without a female partner lol. If the gf wasn't there I would've blown all the RM500. Guys eh? Impulsive haha. Like Dom -_- There goes his RM500. Hopefully they managed to recover some after Rach withdrew more cash LOL. Should've gone to the blackjack tables as well, but ah well. Another time maybe.

Should be sending off my forms to the UK tomorrow, barring any delays. Hope everything goes well. I'm kind of paranoid about sending things through courier services or worse still, the post office.

I love you so much ericamak. Thanks for the great day and your patience with my hot tempered-ness and your 'skills' at roulette haha, which apparently drains your brain power hehe.

Anti-airplane

Finally got my letter of good conduct done today. Phew. What an exhausting day. Went around photocopying stuff and going to Putrajaya getting them certified. Plus the weather was damn hot and the poor bee was waiting outside in the car in the blazing sun cuz she was wearing formal enough clothing lol. And I took 2 hours running up and down the stairs because the cashier charged me wrongly and so the commissioner couldn't sign it blah blah blah.

Oh and had the most romantic lunch at Petronas haha. Eating corn in cup and Maggi and drinking chocolate milk. Can't express how much the bee waiting and accompanying me the whole afternoon meant to me. Thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks love. Also can't believe that I'm leaving to Brunei soon already in a few days (hopefully weeks) time. So so gonna miss the sillybilly.

Life's unfair, I know, that's a cliche. But why can't it be unfair in my favour?

Of the ole' times

Went over to IMU this morning (just) to check if the admin was open so that I can ask a few things regarding the forms from Uni of Manchester. Then as I walked thru the front doors of IMU, I remembered that it's our beloved Agung's birthday today. Everything is closed. Wtf. So I decided to talk a stroll down memory lane in IMU, since it was empty I could just wander around.

Ppl like Zhiven who still has to go to the library different story la lol. But I was just thinking of all the times since Sem 1 starting from orientation up to now, and all the changes IMU has gone thru.

The canteen.
The shopping mall look.
The dual escalators on either side of the building.
The double storey library.
Both IMU Cups.
How IMU had only Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing and how we literally knew everyone in uni by name.
The entrance to IMU where we have to walk thru the basement carpark.
Lectures in LT2 during our 1st year and then Audi in the 2nd.
HTIN AUNG you crazy @$$
Friends made and friends lost.
Sem 1 where I did nothing but play play play play play and oh did I mention play?

Yea ppl will say as you look to progress, changes must be made to match the new standards and all, but I kind of - sue me - miss the old IMU. Like a big family. Though Medicine and Pharmacy were always at daggers. You may say that Vista is a hellhole as well, but in truth it is much better accomodation then not just other hostels in M'sia, but also overseas. Except for the suicides heh. Gonna miss this place. 2.5 years just flew by. Wow.

Not going to visit the bee today cuz she is going to her gramps' place. Sobs. We caught Terminator Salvation yesterday finally. Thought it was just so-so. 7.5/10. Still have not watched so many movies! Damn the high school kids with their hols jamming up all the cinemas.

I hate public holidays.

Lights out

So guess where am I now? If you guessed in the guest room on the ground floor of the bee's house, then you are right. Yea and also guess what? The Tenaga people came to cut my power supply in the evening just now, which is the reason why I'm staying at her place. Luckily her parents agree lol. Wtf right. For the one reason you wish Malaysians are not efficient, they are.

Ah well turning out to be a blessing in disguise heh. It's also our 3 months btw, so Happy 3 Months bee! :) Yea you are upstairs in your room directly above me as well. This is so weird in an amusing way haha.

Century

So I am thinking about quitting studying and just play poker full time cuz I just won again. Lol. That makes it, what, 6-7 nights in a row? Ah well. Let's see how far this luck (and skills) can carry me eh.

Fly, fly, fly away

Back from Brunei. The only thing I brought back was a runny nose. Then up to Penang the bee and I went on Wednesday! Planned to stay overnight there as well at one of the hotels at Ferringhi. Didn't know which one as long as it is cheap hehe. So began our roadtrip up north at 8am. Ok more like 9am cuz my uncle gave me the wrong directions at first.

The long drive up was boring and monotonous. The bee and I entertained ourselves by being emo and argueing and being angry with each other and then making up for it after every 15mins. Lol. And had to msg Karmen for directions and she was such a dear to call back and tell me everything. Thanks Kar :)

Finally reached there around 1pm only to find that the hotel we reserved wasn't all that nice and the beach that it was facing sucked. So we had to go hotel-hopping to check their rates and the beaches and we finally landed in Bayview Beach Resort! Rm155 for a night and the beach and hotel surroundings were damn nice.

Anyway pictures speak a thousand words - or more - so I'll let them do the talking.

Horse looks sexier yes? :D

And last but not the least,

Oh and managed to wake up at 3.30am and trudged down to the main lobby to watch ManUtd lose to Barcelona. Sad case. And I'm still stuck with the runny nose and mild fever.

EOS results out today 3pm! Freaking nervous. Already filled out the forms sent by Uni of Manc. Please don't give me a heart attack.

let's go

Poker confirmed on Tuesday night ok! I come back from Brunei straight away that night play.

Zhiven take note :D Let Dom and Guan they all know.

RM200.

Train

Heading back to Brunei later for 4 days - until Tuesday night. Mum thinks she is too rich lol. Hate going back, hate leaving the bee behind even for 4 days. On the bright side - ok not bright maybe just a small glimmer - I can test drive the new family car!

Speaking of driving and cars, the bee and I headed up to Cameron's yesterday. 3 hour drive up to the strawberry park, and we found this really nice dessert cafe.

Strawberries, cherry tomatoes, chocolate and ice cream. Orgasmic. So all was turning out to be a wonderful day when something happened. I was turning right into a shop across the road. I put my signal to turn to the right when some fucker overtook me and gave me the finger. Ok never mind. So I let him pass before turning into the shop. I was 3/4 into the shop parking lot already when suddenly...BUMP! followed by 2 dull thuds.Ok so A is our car, B is the fucker and the blue cocci looking things are the motorcycles speeding away. Seems like the motorcyclists had to drive more the their left to evade the fucker B, so that might have caused the crash.

After hearing the crash the bee and I got out of the car, and I saw two people laying on the floor, unconscious. Lucky fucky they were wearing their helmets, else I'll probably be in jail by now. One guy groaned and got up, he had cuts and bruises and followed his friend to the hospital first while the other guy was still laying there dazed. I was bloody stunned big time - more stunned then when I saw the word 'fundoscope' in my first OSCE station - and it took me a full minute or so before I remembered I am a medical student. So I took his carotid pulse and checked if he could see the number of fingers I held in front of him. Passerby's and the people on the shops came out to help, and thank God they were helpful and not an angry mob. To cut the long story short, an ambulance came and took him away. IMU should let us practice in these kinds of scenario.

Then came the drama about making a police report or not. First thing is that we didn't want the bee's dad to find out or we'll both be screwed, and making a report means writing down the car number plate which is under his name. Secondly, I thought of just driving off cuz no one there took down our number plate (or so I think). Third option was to just go and settle with them directly, out of court. Which was the choice we ultimately took. And boy was it a good one. Turns out that the motorcyclists were Indonesians and they didn't have any driving license! No report for them too. So we just gave them whatever we had in our wallets and it was settled. Finally.

Lessons learnt. The bee and I can handle any problems thrown at us, and we can make the right decisions after discussing every possible angle lol. I love you : ) Also, Cameron's is not suitable for day trips; never get my kids in the future motorcycles; do the right thing and God will guide you through any storm.
